What do you think of my weight loss plan?


hi, im a freshman in high school, and i am about 130 lbs and i want to lose about 20 pounds…I don’t play any sports and dont have time to exercise. So, im planning to just skip either lunch or dinner everyday…do you think by doing this i could lose at least 2 pounds per week?

Skipping meals may decrease your metabolism rate. By skipping meals your body will adjust itself to regulate the small amount of calorie intake. At some point in the future when you stop skipping the meal, the extra calorie from the meal with be stored as fat in your body.

The trick to reduce weight is to increase your metabolism rate. There is a lot of info on weight loss issue at the source below. Probably the info would help you to achieve your ideal weight without any health risk.

Does anyone have any good meal plans for weight loss?

I need some meal plans/recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner that aren’t too expensive and not too complicated to make. I plan on combining these together during the day for a healthy weight loss plan. When it comes to meat, I only eat poultry, fish fillets and calamari. If you could please help me out, I’d greatly appreciate it!

I have the perfect diet plan for you but before I jump on to the meal schedule i will tell you a quick tip first. It is scientifically proven that if you eat 5-6 meals a day rather than your regular 3 meals, you will burn almost twice more fat. This is because when you consume a meal the body is designed to absorb all nutrients and contents(first the vitamins, then mineral, and finally fats and sugars) from that meal UNTIL you consume another meal. So if you eat 1 meal, wait 3 hours, then eat another meal, your body wont absorb as many fats and sugars as compared to 1 meal, wait 5-6hours, 2nd meal. I hope this made sense. :P

Below is the daily schedule diet:

Meal 1(Breakfast): 2 egg whites, 1 cup of cooked oatmeal
Meal 2(Snack): Fruit or Nuts
Meal 3(Lunch): Tossed Salad with 4oz Chicken strips
Meal 4(Snack): Fruit or Nuts
Meal 5(Dinner): Grilled fish with boiled spinach

Follow this diet everyday. Eat each meal within 2 1/2-3 hours in between. No meals after 9pm.
*Note: This was just an example of meals that you can eat, you can change each food category with another meal of the same category(i.e for your dinner you can substitute any other white meat such as chicken or turkey instead of the fish and for the boiled spinach any other vegetable will do)

But protein is half the battle. Exercising is the other half. While exercising, you will notice a little energy boost from the protein. Also, set short term goals for yourself (ex. i’ll run on the treadmill for 5 minutes), and try to reach those goals even though you feel tired. Then, if you’re working hard, you’ll see significant fat loss. You will also see that you start setting the short term goals harder than before, just for the heck of it.

Need help planning my weight loss plan.?

ok so im a sophomore in HS and overweight( all u need 2 kno). when i get out of HS im gonna try and get the navy to pay for college so i need to be in top shape. So far my plan is: This year 07-08 school year is the weight loss year( im doing alot of cardio, and eating somwhat healthy any other tips. my junior and senior years are going to be strength and flexibility, also endurance. how do your get more endurance.

Your plan for increasing your health sounds good. Strive for five, five fruits and veggies every day. Limit your "junk food" intake to only once or twice a week. You need protein, so maybe add a protein bar to your daily diet. Just find one that’s lower in calories if you’re worried about it.

Start running, it really helps. Run half a mile every day for a week, then next week make it a mile, then the week after that make it a mile and half, etc.

Whats a good 3 month weight loss plan for a 14 year old?

I want to lose weight over the summer. I have been eating healthy lately so thats not an issue. I need to have an exercising plan or something. I cant run or do certain things because i have ashma( I was planning on working my way up to running eventually because i know its a really good exercise). My neighbor has a trampoline that he invites me to all the time so i can use that too. Any help?

It kind of depends on how much weight you want to lose. You should decide on how many pounds you want to lose and then calculate how many calories a day you should try to burn and then find a routine from there.

Although you have asthma you should still try some simple aerobic exercises. Like go on a short walk everyday and then go on longer ones each day. And then move up to jogging etc.
