What is a good diet plan for me that does not involve counting calories?

I am 15 years old, 5′2, about 127 lbs. I really want to loose 17 pounds. Can someone tell me a diet plan that is easy and will work for me? If you have done it before and got results that’s even better. Thanks so much. By the way I need help with controlling myself over junk food

No bread or cheese, lots of raw fruits and vegetables. try to limit the processed foods or fast foods. lots of raw fruits and vegetables oh and lots of raw fruits and vegetables

i need a diet plan to follow to help lower blood pressure. Something easy to follow and meal are easy to cook. cause i work full time and go to school full time.
i dont add salt to my foods. i only eat what salt is on the food

One thing. Stop adding salt to your food. Once you do that you will begin to notice the tremendous amount of salt that is already added to most processed foods and you’ll learn to choose your foods more carefully. Salt will cause you to retain fluids and swell your body, as well as raise your blood pressure. Good luck.

What healthy diet plan (not pills) have you had the most success with?

What diet plan have you had the most success with? Weight Watchers, The Biggest Loser diet, etc, plain old healthy eating in moderation, etc?

What worked the best for you, and why?

Diets don’t work they are to hard to stick to. IF you truly want to lose weight and keep it off for good there are a few things you have to do. Portion control, eat what a TRUE serving is!!!! Eat about six small meals instead of three large ones, Eat more fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Cut down on your protein we as Americans eat more than our bodies truly need any way. And exercise even if you just add 15 minutes a day walking into your day you will start to lose weight, if you do all of the other things also. You don’t have to stop eating what you like, You just have to eat it in the correct portions rather than what we’ve gotten used to. IF you do this you will lose weight, maybe not as fast as you would like but you will lose weight and you will keep it off. The faster that you lose weight usually the faster that you gain it back again. We need to eat more like our parents did and less like the media would want us to.

How much can you loose after following GM diet plan?

Going through a number of diet plans, I have found the GM diet to be a very reasonable and do-able one. But I have doubt as to how much can one loose after going through this plan. Need expert answers from people who have either followed the plan or are aware of the plan.

Is it necessary to follow the P90X diet plan to get results?

I am just starting the P90X classic plan for the purpose of getting toned before bikini season. I am not really interested in losing weight and already eat relatively healthy. I went through the diet plan and discovered that I already eat a lot of the suggested foods on a regular basis (oatmeal, chicken breasts, eggs (w/yolk), skim milk, yogurt, etc). Does anyone know if I will still see great results with the workouts without strictly following the diet plan?

Yes you can get great results with the workouts without following the diet, but your results could be much better with the diet.

Remember, weight loss/fitness is about 60% diet and 40% exercise!

What’s the toughest diet and workout plan you know?

I’ve got a few weeks off work and am after a strict diet plan plus lots of exercise to go with it as a real challenge and to also drop some weight. I love running, my bike and the cardio machines at the gym and do 2-4hrs of cardio every day. I want to challenge myself and am looking for ideas for a really strict diet plus more cardio than I normally do so what’s the toughest plans you know?
